Presenter Dr. Bowman will discuss implications for what “counts” as evidence, research, evaluation, IRB oversight, governance and ownership of data, data access, and confidentiality of data included in Public Law 115-435 and will describe the significance for Tribal Nations and Tribal Elected Leaders (ordinance, policy, and processes) and Tribal researchers, evaluators, and program staff. Implications for TDPR Spencer sponsored local research projects will be discussed.

University faculty, staff and students and non-profit professionals who are working on developing competencies in culturally responsive research & evaluation are invited!
