Indigenous Arts and Sciences will continue virtual programming for the summer of 2021. Although we look forward to when we can meet in person again, we find many advantages to the virtual Institutes. For example, participants have the opportunity to hear diverse perspectives from collaborating partners; people from near and far are able to attend and are not limited by time and travel constraints; and participants appreciate the balance of interactive synchronous learning with asynchronous outdoor activities applying the lessons learned. We are pleased to offer two Institutes in 2021.
Daily course structure:
Inter-Tribal IAS: Online class meetings on June 28-July 2 from 9AM – 12PM (5 days)**
Urban IAS: Online class meetings on July 6-July 9 from 8:30AM – 12:15PM (4 days)**
**Both institutes include afternoon/evening asynchronous coursework: Hands-on, outdoor learning on your own. Share activity experiences, engage in online discussion, and get support and ideas from your colleagues and facilitators.
